Lieberman’s Many Buyback Locations for West Chester Students – Winter 2011!

Dynamic Bookstore has several convenient locations where WCU students can get MORE CASH for their books! You can sell your books back all year round at our store at 20 Linden Street, and starting December 5th, during the last two weeks of the semester, we will add our four other locations for buyback. There will be a buyback cart on Church Street in front of Ruby Jones Hall, another across the street from the Student Union (at the first crosswalk), a van on Church Street between Anderson Hall and the Old Library, and a buyback location in the West Chester Commons Lobby. No matter which location you choose, Dynamic will give you the MOST CASH for your books!

WCU Course Packs: Saving You Money

For many of you, courses may require a Custom WCU Course Pack. A number of professors teach from a variety of different texts and other sources, but would still like to save you (their students) money. Custom Course Packs are made specifically for a course number/section and are used for class lecture notes, experiments, labs, or class activities. They contain all relevant information gathered from multiple sources and are bound together, or printed as binder ready, so that all the material is right at your fingertips.

Course Packs can be found upstairs on the shelves right along with the textbooks for the specified classes. If a shelf is empty or a Course Pack is out of stock, simply ask at one of the registers downstairs and we can print one out specifically for you. Course packs are designed and printed by Lieberman’s Dynamic Bookstore on site and are available in both the weeks preceding and during the semester.

Do you like Foursquare, Gowalla or some other application where you can “check-in” to your favorite places? Why not take it one step further and do it for a good cause? CauseWorld is an application for iPhone and Android. With this app, you check-in to your favorite local businesses in West Chester and the “karma” points you get for checking in can be used to support a variety of charitable causes including the National Breast Cancer Foundation, LiveStrong, Feeding America, Heroes at Home, and many more.

Another feature on this application is that you can scan product bar codes and some products will give you a coupon. Also, some stores and restaurants may have an offer only found through this application that you can benefit from by checking into CauseWorld. Get this application and you can check-in to your favorite places around West Chester University, get great deals to help with your student-sized budget, and help out people in the process!

14th Annual Bear Fair at WCU this November

November is the month for the annual Bear Fair. The Bear Fair is a program where people donate new teddy bears that are soft and cuddly and the bears are then distributed to hospitals and shelters during the holiday season for childern who could really use a hug. This program is being run by a WCU student committee based out of the Office of Service-Learning and Volunteer Programs at West Chester. The only requirements for donating a bear are that the bear be new, soft, and at least 6 inches tall. There are drop-off sites all around West Chester Univerisity’s campus including one in Killinger Hall, and you can bring a bear to Sykes After Dark and get 5 extra raffle tickets for the big prize of the night. This program is running throughout the month of November. Lieberman’s Dynamic Bookstore is proud to announce that West Chester University student, Jessica Hickman, won the free iPad that was raffled off on the first day of class. Jessica is a freshman this year at WCU. By pre-ordering her textbooks with us by the August 13th deadline, she was entered into the raffle and was presented with her prize in the afternoon on August 30th. Thank you to all those that participated and have a wonderful semester!

Free Giveaway T-Shirt with Minimum Textbook Buyback at WCU!

Lieberman’s Dynamic Bookstore will be giving away a free T-shirt for buyback at the end of the Spring 2010 semester. Any student selling back a minimum of $55 dollars in books will be eligible for the tee. If you don’t have $55 of books to sell back at once, we will give you a tally coupon so that you can keep track of the dollar amounts you’ve sold.

That’s not all. The free tee will be part of a summer-long contest we are featuring for students who would like to win $300 toward your Fall 2010 textbook purchase! All you have to do is take an interesting picture of yourself this summer, wearing the free t-shirt, and submit it to us before August 15, 2010. Please keep in mind that supplies of the free t-shirts are limited, so once we run out they are gone. Come and sell your books as early as possible… Believe us, you will want this tee because it is so awesome!!!!

St. Patrick’s Day Giveaway at Dynamic Express Cart on Church Street!

Happy St. Patty’s Day WCU students! The first 17 people to purchase a GREEN item will receive a free pack of ping pong balls at our retail cart on Church Street. We have different shades of green short sleeved tees, thermal long-sleeved shirts, hoodies and blankets. We will also be giving away beads around Dynamic Express so look for our friendly staff up and down Church Street all day tomorrow!! The Dynamic Express cart will be open from 10am-5pm so come check it out!!

The Dynamic Express cart on Church Street in front of Ruby Jones Hall is your easy, one-stop shop for a large variety of school supplies, notebooks, hoodies, t-shirts, umbrellas, blankets, cold remedies and toiletries. We also buyback textbooks and provide quarters for the parking meters. Just look for the white cart with the orange and blue balloons!

The Dynamic Express cart is open five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 10am – 4pm.
